I think the following things are beautiful: fractals, Shakespeare, quantum mechanics, tiger lilies, flowering crabapple trees, the relationship between Faith and the Mayor, eyes, irony, disconnecting your mind from your body, Claire Danes's innocence in "Romeo and Juliet," Inigo's love for Domingo Montoya, observing my formerly-abandoned cat feel safe and happy, the sensation of tasting the center of a rare filet mignon, perfect tattoos, gods' love.

I like adventures. I like following a promising thread of fate and seeing where it goes. I completely match my Personality Test profile, the Dirty Little Secret. I'm an archetypical Leo. I look up words I don't know. I'm hellbent on keeping the serial comma alive and well. Even if I agree with them, I like to tease people who take themselves too seriously.

It bores me when people use cliches to represent themselves in their profiles. Tell me something I've never heard before.

I've learned that if you don't like something about yourself, change it. Which means, I suppose, that what I'm doing with my life is changing it a little bit all the time.

Writing, numbers, spirit work, reading tarot, avoiding cooking, dancing like nobody's watching, using hot pictures and wry wit to lure in OKC people.

Books: Science fiction/fantasy staples that everybody loves: Douglass Adams, Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett, Robert Heinlein, Spider Robinson.

Other loves: Diana Wynne Jones, William Goldman, Christopher Moore, Roald Dahl, among many.

Movies: The Princess Bride is still my favorite - I have yet to find anything that tops it in all its nuances. And the book is even better. I love black comedies and settings with real, 3-dimensional characters in fantastic settings (e.g. Buffy).

Also, I love the new Hitchhiker's Guide movie. I think most people didn't give it an honest chance. It's not a verbatim translation of the book, nor was it ever meant to be.

Music: New loves: The Dresden Dolls, Rilo Kiley, darkwave/goth samplers/DJ mix CDs, dance (e.g. Rihanna).

Old loves: Paul Simon, Counting Crows, Lisa Loeb, Ani DiFranco ("Little Plastic Castle" and earlier).

Foods: hummus, Bulgarian feta, rare steak, chicken kabob, curly fries, hamachi sushi, Wendy's taco salads. Also, I think roasted red peppers are the devil.

Coffee, hummus, the Dresden Dolls, kittens, sunshine, somebody to pet me (like a cat, not like the kind that leads to trouble and seat-wetting).

Staying healthy, friends, family, spirit work, school, infectious diseases, what my next ascension in Kingdom of Loathing will be, Life, the Universe, and Everything.
